Tourist sites do not always announce themselves. Sometimes they’re just a little white boot perched precariously on a post, waiting to be noticed.

You can spy the Little White Boot across from Birch Harbor Baptist Church near mile marker 5 on Knik-Goose Bay Road. It is one of those quirky landmarks that makes the drive a little more fun for locals and visitors alike. It is easy to miss at first, but once you notice it, you will keep an eye out for it every time you drive KGB.

Now it even has a song to go with it. If you are on one of the Holland Tour buses heading into or out of Settler’s Bay Lodge, look sharp or you will pass right by one of Wasilla’s strangest little roadside attractions.
