Memaw’s Parting Words 💅
Baby, today is one of those Alaska days that doesn’t ask permission. It just changes the rules every 10 miles. On the Sterling Highway, it’s a split personality drive. Rain and gray near the Russian River Ferry, then sudden sunshine up by the Ninilchik River Bridge. Same road. Different worlds.
And that fits the vibe at the Mat-Su Outdoorsman Show. Kids fishing in a stocked trout pond while families trade stories outside about boats, campers, and whatever the drive threw at them.
Tonight might be worth stepping outside. If the sky cracks open, don’t overthink it, just look up., Don’t talk yourself out of it. A Kp 6 over Southcentral is worth stepping out onto the porch.
