☕️ Well, sugar. Southcentral starts the week with decent driving conditions and a familiar problem set: not weather, but work zones. Visibility is good, temperatures are seasonable for early June, and roads are mostly dry across the main corridors.

The real slowdowns today are concentrated on the Glenn, Seward, and Sterling highways where construction activity is active during commute and daytime travel windows. Outside of that, it’s standard Alaska driving conditions: moose stepping into traffic like they pay taxes there, deer moving through roadside brush without looking both ways, and the occasional unleashed dog on Knik-Goose Bay Road running full Frogger mode like it’s been practicing all weekend.
