FOUND SAFE: Alexis Mike Located in Anchorage

An Anchorage man with dementia who was reported missing Thursday evening has been located, according to an update from Anchorage police.

Alexis Mike, 60, has been located, the Anchorage Police Department confirmed in a follow-up alert Friday morning, October 23.

Mike was reported missing after he was last seen around 7 p.m. Thursday, October 22, near Chena Avenue and Bunnell Street in Anchorage. Police had asked the public for help finding him, noting that he has dementia.

The alert prompted concern for his safety and calls for the community to watch for him.

The search has ended with the news that Alexis has been found.

The Anchorage Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating Alexis Mike, who was reported missing Friday, October 23.

Mike was last seen around 7 p.m. Thursday, October 22, near Chena Avenue and Bunnell Street in Anchorage. Police report that he has dementia, making it especially important that he be found and returned to safety.

Mike is approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs about 160 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white sweater top, blue jeans and black shoes. He may also have a black jacket with him.
