Sports Equinox 2026: All Four Leagues, One Big Day
Five leagues, 17 games, two championship showdowns, and one epic day for sports fans. Monday, October 26, 2026, is a rare treat for sports fans. The Sports Equinox brings Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Football League (NFL), the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the National Hockey League (NHL) together on one day. This year’s lineup goes a step further, with the WNBA also playing a crucial Finals game. The timing is no accident. Baseball’s postseason overlaps with the NFL’s regular season and the early weeks of the NBA and NHL seasons. When those calendars line up, fans get an unofficial sports holiday. What makes October 26 special? That is 17 games across five major professional leagues, including two championship series at pivotal moments.
