Anchorage is on high alert. Police are searching for an armed man, investigating a deadly homicide, and responding to a life-threatening shooting … all in the past 24 hours. Here’s what you need to know.

1. PERSON OF INTEREST: MATHEW THOMAS BECKER
The Anchorage Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating 61-year-old Mathew Thomas Becker. He is considered armed and dangerous. Do not attempt contact. If seen, call 911 immediately with his location.

2. HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION: 2800 BLOCK OF ALDER DRIVE
At approximately 10:15 a.m. on March 14, APD responded to the 2800 block of Alder Drive, where officers discovered a deceased adult male. The victim’s identity will be released after next-of-kin notification. Anyone with information about this incident who has not already spoken with police is asked to call Anchorage Police Dispatch at 3-1-1.

3. SHOOTING INVESTIGATION: 5000 BLOCK E. 6TH AVE.
At around 9 p.m. on March 13, officers responded to reports of a shooting on the 5000 block of East 6th Avenue. They found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
