High Wind Warning in Effect Until 6 PM AKST Today
The National Weather Service in Anchorage has extended a High Wind Warning for Anchorage, Eagle River, and Eklutna due to persistently strong northerly winds. National Weather Service
What to Expect:

This camera looks southeast over Midtown, with the Sears Mall (tan, single-story building) centered in the frame. Northern Lights Boulevard runs in front of the mall (one-way westbound), while Benson Boulevard runs behind it (one-way eastbound). At center left is the Fred Meyer shopping complex, with the New Seward Highway running north–south between the two malls. The high-rise near the center of the image is an office building.
