High Wind Warning in Effect Until 6 PM AKST Today


The National Weather Service in Anchorage has extended a High Wind Warning for Anchorage, Eagle River, and Eklutna due to persistently strong northerly winds. National Weather Service

What to Expect:

• Winds: North winds sustained 20–30 mph with gusts up to 40–60 mph, strongest near Knik Arm and Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. National Weather Service
