🌱 A Little Rhubarb, A Lot of Memories

There is something special about watching a garden move from one generation to the next.
On Sunday, Zachary, 14, and Cyrus, 9, helped plant rhubarb from Grandma’s garden into their mother’s garden.
It was a simple afternoon in the dirt, but those are often the moments that stick with us.
Gardening expert Joy Gibson Bossi of Joy in the Garden fame has always said, “Fall is for planting.” This time, the planting came with a little family history attached.
That rhubarb started in Grandma’s garden. Now it has a new place to grow, tended by the next generation.
And maybe years from now, when Zachary and Cyrus see that rhubarb coming back each spring, they’ll remember that Sunday when they helped put it in the ground.
Some things grow in gardens.
Some things grow in memories.
