The search for Donald “Butch” Sapp continues, and on Tuesday morning, the Alaska Dive Search Rescue and Recovery Team will head back out to continue looking.
Search teams are watching conditions closely and hoping water levels remain low enough to help them continue their efforts.
But behind every search mission is a family waiting, hoping, and praying for answers.
This photo of Butch with his granddaughter, Teagen Tanner, is a reminder that Butch is more than a name on a missing-person notice. He is a grandfather, a loved one, a friend, and a member of the Alaska community.
