Looking for a way to sprinkle some extra holiday magic into your Christmas break? Anchorage is twinkling this year with neighborhoods and special spots decked out in festive lights. Whether you’re with family, friends, or that special someone, a self-guided driving tour of Anchorage’s Christmas lights is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit.

Here’s your suggested driving route for a clockwise loop around Anchorage:


1. Start North / East Anchorage

2. Midtown & West Anchorage

After Becharof Street, head southwest toward Midtown and West Anchorage for densely decorated residential streets.

From West Anchorage, drive south down C Street or Minnesota Drive to reach displays in South Anchorage neighborhoods.
