💅 Sugar, if your day started with a cat stroll across your face, congratulations. You’re properly observing National Respect Your Cat Day. That little mischief is doing exactly what they do best, making you smile while you’re being bossed around.
Across Southcentral Alaska, the roads are mostly behaving themselves today. There might be a few slick surprises early, but the longer daylight is slowly convincing winter to pack up and let spring tiptoe into view. Winter is not listening.
Until then, it’s the usual Alaska compromise. Sunshine, snowbanks high enough to hide a snow shovel, and a cat silently running the show like Stubbs, the honorary mayor of Talkeetna, presiding over Main Street with ultimate authority.

🟢🟡🔴 Daily Verdict: Easy Cruise with a Chance of Lights
Roads: Mostly clear and winter-maintained across Southcentral
Traffic: Light weekend flow with no widespread Alaska 511 alerts
Sky: Partly cloudy today, and if clouds thin tonight the aurora might peek through

Memaw’s Parting Words
🌄 Alaska’s daylight is slowly stealing minutes from winter while your household cat quietly schemes, practicing to be the next Stubbs of Talkeetna.
💖 Drive safe, enjoy the longer evening light, and keep an eye on the sky tonight in case the northern lights decide to make a quiet appearance. 🌌
🐾 If your cat is already ensconced in your favorite chair when you get home, you can take comfort in being the second-most important being in the house. 🐈⬛
