A friendship built on laughter, memories, margaritas, and a few stories we probably shouldWe’ve spent our careers around records, reports, and stories. But the best ones? Those stay safely off the record. Cheers to Jodie and the memories that never need a transcript. 🍹 | Alaska Headline Living ©️

Some friendships deserve more than a birthday card. They deserve a song! 🎵
Today, I’m celebrating my dear friend Jodie in Palmer with a little something I wrote just for her. “The Stories We Won’t Tell” is a playful tribute to the laughter, memories, inside jokes, and all the moments that make lifelong friendships so special.

Of course, every great friendship has a few stories that probably should stay between friends. Add in a few margaritas, plenty of laughter, and the wisdom that comes with being 60-something, and you have the perfect recipe for a birthday celebration.
I wrote the lyrics myself, then used OpenMusic.ai to help bring the song to life by creating the music and melody. I chose a Bossanova inspired style to capture that fun, vintage, carefree feeling of friends gathering together, reminiscing, laughing, and making new memories.
Happy birthday, Jodie. Here’s to all the stories we’ve shared, the ones we’ll never tell, and the ones still waiting to be made. 💖
