Memaw’s Arctic Roll Commute for Saturday, February 7, 2026
☕️ Well, hey there, sweetheart! Grab your coffee, kick those tires, and listen up. Roads are cold and mostly cloudy with patchy fog possible early. Daylight is still short in Southcentral today, with sunrise just after 9 am and sunset just past 5 pm. But, we are gaining nearly five minutes of daylight each day now, so there is a little hope baked into that sky. If possible, plan your commutes around those hours, hon. Skies may stay mostly cloudy with a chance of flurries, and the aurora forecast shows some moderate geomagnetic activity tonight that could be worth a peek if the skies clear. Forecasts pulled from the National Weather Service and aurora models. 💅

Memaw’s Parting Words Sweetheart, these roads are looking sticky today with patchy fog and refreeze risk after sunset. Take your time, keep those headlights on, and if the clouds part tonight, peek north for a soft aurora glow. Stay safe and drive smart.
