🚨 Breaking: Anchorage Man Charged in Jewelry Store Burglary, Linked to Multiple Attempted Break-Ins

Anchorage, AK – Anchorage police have arrested a local man in connection with a November 10 burglary at David’s Jewelers on N. Muldoon Road and linked him to two additional attempted business break-ins.

According to the Anchorage Police Department (APD), 26-year-old John Mixon was charged after detectives, with assistance from community members and the Homer Police Department, connected him to the David’s Jewelers case (APD Case 25-34737). Mixon is also facing charges for attempted burglaries at two other Anchorage businesses (APD Cases 25-36423 and 25-34739).

Investigators are actively seeking the vehicle involved in the incidents and urge anyone with information to contact Detective Heidi Schaeffer at Heidi.schaeffer@anchorageak.gov. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Anchorage Crime Stoppers at www.AnchorageCrimeStoppers.com.
