Anchorage police shared welcome news Tuesday: 26-year-old Alo Salamasina is safe after officers located them, bringing a positive end to the missing person alert issued earlier.
The Anchorage Police Department thanked the community for paying attention and helping spread the word while officers worked to locate Salamasina.
Police note that before someone can be cleared from “missing person” status, officers must first be notified the person has been located and then confirm their safety through in-person contact.
