💅 Well sugar, before we even check the mirrors and fire up the engine, today’s got a little extra flavor. It’s National Joe Day, which means every Joe, Jo, Joey, Joseph, Josephine, Jody, Jodie, Johanna, Josette, Josie, and every cousin of the Joe family tree gets a nod.
Whether your name is Joe or you’re borrowing it for the day, hey Joe, let’s take a walk on the wild side. Grab a cup of joe, swap a story about a Joe you know, and hit the road with a grin while the spring sun climbs over the Chugach. And a special shout-out to Memaw’s cousin, Jody, and her oldest, ride-or-die pal, Jodie who has kept the laughs rolling all these years. 😂🤣😅
Memaw says buckle up and enjoy the ride. 💖
🟢🟡🔴 Daily Verdict: Friendly Friday Cruise with a Cup of Joe
Roads: Mostly open with occasional slick spots early and late
Traffic: Typical Friday flow across Southcentral
Sky: Aurora possible tonight if clouds thin out
Thank you Alaska 511 for bringing some of our traffic cams back online, including Knik Goose Bay Road, Homer, and Soldotna. Now we’re looking forward to seeing the Potter Marsh cam on the Seward Highway next. 💖
