A closed-door congressional deposition involving Hillary Clinton was briefly paused Thursday after an unauthorized photograph from inside the session circulated online.

The image was posted on social media by Benny Johnson, who said it was provided by Lauren Boebert and pinned the post to the top of his X account. The post claimed the image showed Clinton during testimony before the United States House Committee on Oversight and Accountability as part of its inquiry into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Committee rules prohibit photography or distribution of images from closed-door depositions. Officials briefly paused the proceeding to review the potential breach before resuming the session.

Clinton has said she has no knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activities and does not recall meeting him.
