Anchorage Urged to Help Find Young Woman Missing Since New Year’s Day

Friends and family of 28-year-old Sierra Daunning are growing worried after she was last seen near Muldoon Road and East 5th Avenue around 10:35 a.m. on January 1, 2026. She has not been heard from since, and authorities are asking the community to stay alert and help bring her home. (anchoragepolice.com)

Daunning is 5-foot-9, 110 pounds, with brown-green hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a white sweater or hoodie with Punisher skulls, black pants, and black-rimmed glasses, with her hair half pulled up. No confirmed information about her whereabouts has emerged since she went missing. Police urge anyone who may have seen her or has relevant information to come forward.
